What is the general premise of the video?
The premise of the video is to highlight the fact that people are spending way too much time on their phones and are distracted from key parts of society. The characters in the video were so distracted by their phones that they ultimately led to their death.
Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message?
Yes the video is effective in conveying its key message because it depicts this problem in a cartoon style that exaggerates many aspects of being on your phone for the purpose of making someone realize the real negative effects of a cellphone society.
Do you feel that this is more of a cautionary story (a warning) or more of an examination of our current social situation? Why?
I feel like this is both a warning and examination of our current social situation. Phones are becoming more present in society and the video highlights what will happen when phones go to extremes of taking over how we live. The video uses both current examples and highly exaggerated examples to convey this both current and future warning.
